Montserrat - The Jewel of the Caribbean

Montserrat is the secret jewel of the Caribbean. The pace of life is gentle and laid-back. After just a few days in this genuinely relaxed and friendly community, you will be too.

Enjoy the water
Some visitors spend the majority of their stay chilling by the pool, or walk from the villa to one of the island's fascinating black sand beaches. Explore others by car (only one has white sand) and you may often have the place to yourself. More active visitors can go snorkelling or diving at some of the excellent dive sites.

Enjoy nature's beauty
There are some unforgettable walks in the local hills. This island is perfect for bird-watching, painting, photography: there are so many fascinating subjects to observe, record or simply enjoy.

Enjoy nature's drama
Our famous active volcano which destroyed the capital city of Plymouth in 1997 is at the southern end of the island. The Holt is in the island's Safe Zone but a visit to the Montserrat Volcano Observatory will provide a powerful reminder of nature's awesome power.
